The South Padre Island Chamber of Commerce welcomes you to join a dynamic fellowship of businesses bound together to develop and support business on the Island and in the surrounding area.

The Chamber exists for one reason - to promote business. Whether this means drumming up publicity or keeping an eye on local legislation, the Chamber of Commerce is here to help our member's businesses thrive and grow.

By joining the Chamber, you are opening your business to a variety of new opportunities for networking, promotion, information and advertising. Displaying a Chamber of Commerce membership plaque demonstrates credibility to your customers and a willingness to contribute to your community.

However, what you get from the Chamber depends on you. To reap the benefits of being part of the Chamber, you must participate in Chamber events. Attending mixers, luncheons and special events allows you to network with other business owners and decision-makers, reading the monthly newsletter keeps you informed of upcoming activities, and participating in Chamber activities demonstrates a community spirit.

Mission Statement

The South Padre Island Chamber of Commerce is organized to advance the quality of life and economy of the Island so that all areas of the business community and its residents shall prosper. Emphasis will be given to participation in the formation of Town strategies, education & development of the workforce, coordination and support of Town and tourism efforts and the establishment of partnerships with the communities of the Laguna Madre Area and the Rio Grande Valley.
