2010 Directors Award

When selecting a recipient the Awards Committee uses the following selection criteria:

Chamber member in good standing.

• Support in action and word of the Chamber's mission statement.
  
  
• Contributions which exceeds normal expectations.
  
  
• Participation in Chamber events and activities.
  
  
• Financial support of programs and activities.
  
  
• Community and charitable involvement.
  
  
• Proponent for business growth and development.

Since 2000 our recipients have included: Tom O'Connell, Sharon Taylor, Rick Legere, Cynthia Sellers, Louie's Backyard, Loraine Johnston, Darrell Mangham, Ginny Ossanna, David Clarke and Tom Hansen.

During the selection process, Liz Money's name rose to the top of the list of many deserving recommendations. Described as enthusiastic and outspoken our recipient is indeed special to all of us. Her connections to the Chamber go back many years and whether she was on the front line as the Chairman of the Board or in the background as a longtime member - the Chamber has always had her undying support. This individual has received other recognition awards, but our Awards Selection Committee felt it was time to present her with the Chamber's top honor.
